King Engine Bearings was founded in 1960 with the aim of providing the best quality bearings. Today, the company still focuses on both the production and the sales process, which enables it to realise the customer's wishes like no other. The company guarantees its quality by having full control over the production process from raw material to completely packaged end product.
Bearings from King do not leave the factories without meeting the highest quality requirements.
The company uses its own technology and specialisation to guarantee this. There is a lot of investment in new software and production systems to ensure a wide range and high accuracy in production. King uses its own production technology called Bull's Eye Tolerance, which includes precision machining and computerised control to ensure constant wall thickness during production.
New bearings are designed and tested using 'ENSIM ™ - Engine simulation software', which allows bearings to be tested in realistic conditions and the design to be refined where necessary. Production lines and machines are designed so the company can easily adapt to current requirements in the production process or supply.
The company exclusively specialises in high-quality bearings. Bearings are available for a wide range of applications such as cars, trucks, marine, aviation and performance.
Different materials are also available, each with their own properties and capabilities, including load capacity and wear resistance. Aluminium and copper are widely used main materials for bearings and each is suitable for a specific application. In 2016 for example, the pMaxKote™ coating was developed for use in racing bearings. More information about the different types of bearings can be found in the King flyer.
In addition to pMaxKote™, a comprehensive range of bearings for performance applications is also available under the name King Racing. King Racing bearings are designed to withstand extreme conditions. The bearings are designed using research, development processes and testing in conjunction with selected racers.
